We recently had a young resident come into the Township office and ask if we had any basketballs available to use on the basketball court which is located behind the Township building. At the time we did not. This triggered a conversation between Township and Police Department personnel. While out on patrol, our officers reached out to DICK's Sporting Goods at Upland Square Shopping Center which is located in the Township. In return this business very generously donated a supply of soccer balls, basketballs, and footballs for our youth to use at our various parks.
The basketballs will be immediately available for use at the Township Complex. Just stop by the Township Building or Police Department to request to use one. However, we will need to determine a safe way to make the balls available for use at our other parks. We will keep you posted.
