Extension of Property Tax Discount Period

The Commissioners of West Pottsgrove Township in conjunction with Montgomery County Commissioners have decided to extend the County, MCCC, and Township property tax discount payment period from April 30th 2020 to May 31st 2020.

This initiative needs to be made by a Resolution. Given that the next scheduled Commissioners meeting of May 6, 2020 is after the currently established discount deadline, the Commissioners have authorized this Notice of Intent.

For those individuals that pay the face value between April 30th and May 31, 2020, they will be issued a refund of the discount amount.

The refund policy does not apply to Financial Institutions making payments on behalf of residents that have escrow accounts associated with their mortgage.
